The 411 on Relationships

Everything relationships as it relates to our family, friends and crushes. Identifying healthy and unhealthy signs in each category. Understanding what healthy love looks like from each category. We discuss ways our childhood upbringing, traditions, morals, values impact how we make decisions in life. How our environmental upbringing shape our lives as we continue to grow. A conversation about our friends–how we cultivate friendships, what draws us to certain people, and important character traits we should possess in friendships. We discuss how we show up in romantic relationships, teen dating violence, and learning to walk away from toxic people–even when its hard.

This presentation outlines the various topics discussed in our 6 to 8 week Human Trafficking Program. The topics include: Human Trafficking 101, Relationships, Relationships Pt.2, Trust, Boundaries, Communication/Needs, Identity/Social Media, and YAP Store/Celebration.

A Youth Guide To Understanding Human Trafficking

This discussion focuses on helping youth, parents, and the community understand the basics of human trafficking. The conversation focuses on defining human trafficking, examples of human trafficking, things to look out for, how to change the perspective on how we view current victims/survivors of human trafficking.

On Purpose: What’s the Assignment

This workshop discusses the topic of purpose. We use biblical principles from the Bible to ask youth questions and get the conversation started about their purpose in life. Asking questions like: What passions, talents, gifts have God given you so far in your life? Are you currently living just for yourself or only for others or is there a balance? Are you living on purpose and in purpose? By starting this conversation, we can help provide youth with next steps on how to start living purposeful lives and being more aware of the choices they make even as teens.
