Social Media
Manage YAP social media platform; creatively develop and implement content all social media platforms; Work with FCI social media person; Stay up-to-date on social issues relating to youth; Recognize ways to improve YAP engagement on social media; Work closely with YAP leaders from other program teams; Identify ways youth are being lured by traffickers via social media.
Photography
Work closely with YAP leaders from other program teams; Attend YAP events to capture the moments; Edit pictures and videos; Communicate a direction in a way that inspires those around him/her to join in the pursuit of that vision; Create content to add to social media platforms; Stay up-to-date on social issues relating to youth; Be familiar with cameras, social media platforms, and editing software.
Research
Support YAP’s growth through identifying new information regarding human trafficking and other social issues impacting youth; Work closely with YAP leaders from other program teams; Monitor research relating to human trafficking; Identify ways to fight against human trafficking from a youth’s perspective; Inform YAP leaders on what’s new on social issues.
Workshops
Create, plan, and host each workshop–this includes topics discussed, location, activities, and other aspects of workshop components; work closely with YAP leaders from other program teams; Work with FCI and YAP Coordinator on how to obtain funding for YAP.
Merch/Design
Oversee the development and maintenance of YAP designs; Develop ways to obtain funding through YAP merch; Ensure there is enough merch in stock for any event YAP will participate/host; Coordinate YAP clothing designs for events; Identify items for purchase for YAP events
